The presence of digital and analog inputs allows the acquisition of external signals, whose information are then elaborated inside the logic of the on-board MCU. Relays and outputs then complete the process management through the activation of answers, prompts and commands directed to electrical and electro-mechanical elements that are connected to the board. The presence of the Modbus RTU protocol, ready to use, allows communication between the I/O boards and operative panels, CPUs and PLCs.
